General: Causative agents include Necator americanus, Ancylos 313g62d toma duodenale, Ancylostoma braziliense, and Ancylostoma caninum; final diagnosis depends upon finding eggs in feces.
Ocular: Retinal hemorrhages around optic disk; diplopia; conjunctival xerosis; visual field defects; cataract.
Clinical: Maculopapules; localized erythema; microcytic hypochromic anemia.
