General: Parasitic infection by Schistosoma mansoni.
Ocular: Hyphema; parasite in anterior chamber; granuloma of conjunctiva, lid, lacrimal gland, and orbit; uveitis; keratitis; iritis; retinitis; dacryoadenitis; cataract; posterior uveitis; choroiditis; blepharitis; optic atrophy.
Clinical: Dermatitis; fever; allergic reaction; short-lasting hepatosplenomegaly, inflammation, granuloma formation, and fibrosis; meningitis; cor pulmonale.
