Visual Paraneoplastic Syndrome 1
General: Loss of visual acuity and loss of visual field due to mali 151d33b gnant disease without metastasis to visual system; most often occurs with small cell carcinoma of lung; visual symptoms may be only symptom, before neoplastic disease is diagnosed; can occur associated with cutaneous melanoma.
Ocular: Visual field defects; impaired color vision; narrowing of arterioles; changes in retinal pigment epithelium; orbital myositis; optic neuropathy.
Clinical: Endometrial carcinoma, small cell lung carcinoma.
